I seem to be dropping the ball over the last few days, so I offer apologies to all for not visiting as regularly as usual. Hopefully, I’ll be back on track soon. My edited manuscript came back, so I’m trying to correlate book 3 of my orples series. This is page 30 of the prototype of “The Orples Learn To Read”. Right now, I am redoing the entire book, so the fonts will change and any errors should be corrected, prior to publication.

I was making good time, until my printer decided to break. Now, I’m waiting for my oldest son, to try to help me set up a wireless printer. I don’t know where I went wrong, but this has been a ‘hamster on a wheel’ day, if you know what I mean. 😦 . Hopefully, book 3 will be available soon, then I can really call the orples books a ‘series’. Day, by day, I guess. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by, Sonel.

Thank God for editors. I am horrible with punctuation, but have been blessed with an editor that knows her stuff, and she has reworked a couple of sentences (without reworking the story) to make the scenes flow a bit better. I hope to use her on all of my books.

Believe me Natalie, I know exactly how you feel. I’m trying to catch up a wee bit for now. My printer died mid-stream today, otherwise I’d be working on getting my drawings ready to publish. My son is supposed to help me make my new printer work with my computer tomorrow. I did something wrong trying to get the computer to recognize the printer (wifi connection). ??? Ugggg. But I’m glad you like my illustration, for the time being. Except for the font and a little tweaking, it will be in the next book “The Orples Learn To Read”.
