Weekly Photo Challenge. Reflections

There was an alternative challenge this past week, which I am just now getting to.Β  Even though there are a gazillion photos of buildings reflecting back in the water, all of them are different. Thus, I offer yet another building admiring its own reflection, as it shares its double vision with the world. This photo was taken in Danville, Virginia.

Looking across the Dan River.

  1. Look at how still the water is, thereby allowing such a perfect reflection. I like that you deliberately got the branches in as well. Lends a more real touch.

    >Thus, I offer yet another building admiring its own reflection,
    – A building primping itself. Cute!

    >as it shares its double vision with the world.
    – Again, I like the play on words here.

  3. Two things makes this picture stand out for me. First the beautiful light that also adds a lovely warm tone to the picture. Secondly the tree in the foreground. Usually it would feel like a mess to have a tree with so many branches in a picture, but here it adds to the ambience. I think because it mostly stands against a clear sky. Well done.
