This is a little late getting posted today as I’ve been trying to catch up on my blogging. However, my mother has been on my mind all day for obvious reasons, so to put my mind at ease, I would like to pay tribute to her. I was so honored and very lucky to call this woman “Mom”. May she RIP and know where ever she is that she is as much loved today as she was when I was so blessed to have her here in this life to converse with and to confide in.
To all mother’s everywhere in celebration of ‘our’ day, I wish to you a very Happy Mother’s Day.
Your dear Mom looks like a lovely woman. Our mothers are so precious, aren’t they?

I always felt so blessed to have the mother that I had. She was so wise, and so open minded. I miss our conversations and her guidance and out little chats. I’m sure you feel the same about your Mom. I hope you have the pleasure of enjoying Mother’s Day with her.

Thank you. Mom was happy in this photo. I think she was usually happy anyway, but this was my brother’s wedding day, so she was ecstatic, I’m sure. Thanks for stopping by and checking her out, Janine. 🙂

Thank you for stopping by to visit, Christine. Yes, Mom was such a lady. I don’t know what happened to me… her little ‘Tom Boy’. But, she loved me anyway. I think though she did instill her kindness, and hopefully her open-mindedness in me, anyway. Happy Mother’s Day to you, too. 🙂

Lovely post & photos. Any woman who can wear so fabulously, that beautiful shade of yellow must have a sunshine heart, I think.

My mother was so many wonderful things. I’d say she had a sunshiny heart, but she was also a tower of strength and when she stood her ground, watch out! I think we all see our Mothers in a different light than anyone else sees them. I think I miss my mother’s never ending wisdom the most. She always knew the right answer to the (any) question, if you know what I mean. Thanks for stopping by Ella and for the lovely compliments as well.

Sunny! Your mama’s smile, your mama’s disposition and your mama’s outfit! I see a hint of her smile and the slight tilt of the head in you.
I thought of your mum, too, because you have mentioned her fondly in the past. I even listened to her favourite ‘Moonlight Sonata’ after breakfast and gave her a little nudge in the form of a special prayer to make all your little and far-from-little projects in life the successes you deserve, Marcy. Yo mama didn’t need no nudge though. I got a little look from her for that needless reminder. 😉

P.S.: Can you imagine what your own children (and grandchildren) will say and write about you decades from now? Aww. They are blessed to have you in their lives, Marcy.

HI Kate,
I’m so happy you stopped by, and I’m sure Mom was looking down on us all. I sure could feel her with me spiritually yesterday, big-time.
Hopefully, you got to relish in your mother’s company yesterday with your sisters at your side.
As for my kids, they’ll probably look back on me, and say ‘yeah’ Mom was a little off … seriously, who talks to orples? LOL. No matter, I hope when I’m gone, and they reflect back they will feel the love for me, that I feel for my own mother. No one could ask for more!. 🙂
Here’s hoping you enjoyed your weekend, and are in for a dynamite week ahead.
