Here is a little glimpse of the Dan River raging over the fall, as you look through the underside of the bridge.

I love the arches, too, Rommel. In this case, I think the Engineers that designed the bridge get the credit for the arch that holds her up. I’ll take credit for the shot though, so thank you very much! 🙂

Hi Marcy,
This is another blog I RSS
http:// girlmeetsbulgaria. com/ (I’ve broken up the link to get past the WP bouncers.)
She won a photograph contest at this site.
http:// http://www.theartsygirlconnection. com/ (Uh huh, broke it up again.)
The theme was ‘Green’. That reminded of your recent green picture. See if this site and the contest is something you might be interested in. I took a peek myself, but can’t finagle the ‘Finagle a Foto’ tab at the top right and therefore, I’m un-finagled about what it entails.
I only hope this does not add to your already piled up plate.
As for this photograph, I feel like I’m looking at the little (dammed?) fall through an oddly shaped keyhole. Yeah, my brain can sometimes be like a post you re-blogged recently – it trips without LSD (or any other, um, help)! 🙂

Thanks for the links, Kate. It was cool of you to pass this info along. I will check them out.
As far as your brain, or the way you think goes, keep in mind that your are talking to someone that talks to orange-people. Hmmm, what does that say about both of us? LOL.

Oh, so this post did sail through. It did not show up immediately after I wrote it, so I assumed my tampering with the links wasn’t good enough for the Spam filter. Which is why I added the second half of it later.
>Thanks for the links, Kate. It was cool of you to pass this info along.
– You’re welcome! I did it because I think you’re pretty cool yourself, Marcy. 🙂

– Hey, we’re part of the rainbow of humanity! Okay, we’re more like the fizzing, twinkling, cuckoo, batty bits of it, but we’re still part of that technicolour arc alright.

Works for me! And I’m glad it works for you too! Beside, everybody has to be something, and there are a lot worse things to be than ‘different’. Oh, thing of the fun we might miss, otherwise.

Thank you. I always enjoyed having my camera with me, when I strolled by the river. It never failed to offer a beautiful shot here, or there, or there, or there… You know what a flirt, Mother Nature is. Thanks for stopping by to check it out, I’m glad you enjoyed the visit.

I’d thought about inviting them into the picture. I think I’m going to start doing taking them on a few trips into photo-land when I post. What do you think, Gerry, should I?

I take it you checked out my re-blog? … not something I do often, but sometimes I can’t resist.
Mother Nature is so generous with her scenery … especially down by the river(s), this seem like an appropriate shot for ‘through’! Glad you took a stroll with me!

– Yes, I did. Fortunately, the images load slowly here, so I read through the comments first and merely glanced through the pictures to get some idea of what made the readers feel dizzy. I’m prone to motion sickness, so I avoided a full-on, intense gaze.

It appears everything came through fine. I’ve not check the links out yet, but I do intend to. I don’t get motion sickness, so I’ll gaze at all of those little whirly gizmos for you … takes me back to the 60’s when things were groovy! 😉

That is the best spot for that hon. You will also see that hubby never catches the fish. He believes in catch and release and he also belongs to the Yellow Fish Conservation group in their club as well, so he will really enjoy it there. 🙂

I don’t fish because I don’t have the patience for it. I’d rather take a sketch book with me and draw the fish. LOL. But I’m glad Hubbie let’s ‘um go. Tell him he gets brownie points for that! 🙂
