Weekly Photo Challenge . Contrast #3

When the subject of contrast first came up, this is the photograph I was going to post, but instead I posted the dogwoods against the clear blue sky. Then I posted Olivia and Oscar hitting the beach, since they have felt a little left out lately.

Trees standing bold against a varied background.

So now, let me present more of Mother Nature’s colors showing themselves off. When I took this photo, it was with the intent of possibly working it into some type of fabric wall hanging. I posted an example of a fabricscape in January, based on a different photograph. There simply aren’t enough hours in the day to get it all done.

    • I am so glad you stopped to comment. I posted that fabriscape back awhile back before my blog took off, so I doubt many people have seen it. Thank you for taking a peek. 🙂

    • You are welcome Kelly. I love your blog and of course, visiting is always a pleasure.

Thank you for the award. I am going to post all awards at once, since I am a wee bit backed up, and have not gotten to earlier awards yet. Never-the-less, I appreciate the honor bestowed upon me. 🙂

    • Thank you Sonel. I always liked this shot myself. One day, I hope to find the time to make a fabriscape with it, or at least part of it. I like to take artistic license with my projects, so who knows what a finished piece based on the color scheme here might look like. I’ll cross that bridge when I get to it. In the meantime, I’m glad you enjoyed it. Thanks as always, for the visit and the kudos! 🙂

    • That what I was thinking Rebekah. With the right fabrics and a little embroider floss and other embellishments, I suspect it would be a great guide for a nice wall hanging. Thank you for stopping by and checking it out. 🙂

        • Nature and her paintbrush never cease to amaze me. I liked the variety of colors in their horizontals with the bold trees standing vertically against the paling background. It’s amazing how many wonderful landscapes we are blessed with if we only look. Of course, with fabrics, the colors and textures can vary to create a multitude of scenes, based on just the color outlines alone, from any given photograph.
