It’s hard to beat a back rub for pleasure, even if you do have to do it yourself.
Magi was famous for rolling after the ride. Bath or not, the first thing he’d do is tumble in the grass once his tack was removed. What a ham.

Psst, Marcy, I think your horsie thinks he’s a dog. What? Horses can do that?

Hush your mouth, Kate. He thinks he is a people. 🙂 Shuuuush, don’t tell him and different. LOL. The really good horses can roll from side to side without getting up first. Magi was/is a great horse, and he loved to roll. Check out pleasure #3 that I just posted. Note the treats on the side of his pads. He was a wee bit spoiled too. 😉

>Hush your mouth, Kate.
– Ha ha! Love this expression! I’m going to use it hencforth.
There was a college mate who used to growl, “Shut your face!” It made me laugh, too, but I was too much of a wimp to use it myself. This sounds just as much fun, but far more gentle.
What’s that I hear? Someone laughing at me? Hush your mouths, people. (Hee hee!)
>He thinks he is a people.
– Aww! But Magi *is* a people.
>He was a wee bit spoiled too.
– Wee? Just a wee bit? Really? 😉

Magi would sometimes roll out of the blue. He loved it. And you could bet, after a long ride, it was part of his routine, before running off to join up with his pasture mates. Silly horse.
